They alternated reading the fable Tortise and the Hare.

My students love this activity!!!!!

1st. Shaving cream on the desk.

2nd. Begin spelling.

3rd. Have fun.

Object Talk - Fairness

How will Desiree and Emily be fair when there is only one muffin?

They talked it over...

Emily cut.

Desiree chose.

Both are happy.

Now, the whole class gets involved.

Object Talk - Forgiveness

The water in this cup represents God.
The tissue represents sin. Our sin separates us from God.

These blocks represent different students in the third grade class.

They are separated from God because of sin. When we believe in God and the gift of His Son, Jesus, we start to unstand our sin. When we believe that Jesus died for our sins, we begin to break the barrier and begin a relationship with our Savior.

The separation is broken and now we can have a relationship with God.

Day at the Fair

Third Grade had a wonderful day celebrating Charlotte, Wilbur and the rest of the barn animals.

The students had a wonderful array of things to eat. It would have been a rat's paradise, however, Templeton did not receive an invitation to this party.

The students enjoyed watching the animated version of Charlotte's Web, one of Mrs. Palermo's favorite. Many are peacefully watching and remembering the story they have read.
